AWESOME ROCKS OF BIRI ISLAND, PH

Beautiful, enchanted, picturesque is an UNDERSTATEMENT! I conquered the northernmost/tip of Samar the island of BIRI where going to the island is exciting because of big scary of Pacific Ocean. This small island is located where San Bernardino Strait and Pacific Ocean meets.

My 2-day trip was not enough as I was not able to stroll around the island and hopped on all the rock formations. The only way to go around the island is by renting a tour guide with a motorbike. When I went there, there was no electricity because all the lines were damaged by the typhoon. At first, I felt a little bit disappointed but I realized that it's the kind of retreat I need. The place was so peaceful and the locals are so laid back and hospitable.

According to the locals, there are at least 7 major rock formations. So I woke up early in the morning to visit the famous rock formations. Sadly though, I was only able to visit 3, namely: Bel-at, Magasang; and Magsapad.



I would surely visit this place again to discover more of the rock formations. The locals also mentioned that there are waterfalls in the area worth visiting. Thanks for reading.
