The red lake


Red Lake is a natural dam lake formed by the collapse of a slope due to the earthquake from 23th January, 1838.

Its name comes from the Red brook that crosses red layers with oxides and iron hydroxides.

The valley is virtually free of winds, clean air, rich in natural aerosols, scenic surroundings provide excellent conditions for those seeking natural regeneration.

Brukenthal Museum


The Brukenthal National Museum is a group of museums in Sibiu.

The founder of this museum was Samuel von Brukenthal, Habsburg governor of Transylvania, between 1778 and 1787. By the testament, Baron Samuel von Brukenthal ordered the opening of the Palace as a public museum, his gesture thus enrolling among the great enlighteners of the age.

The palace became a public museum in 1817, known as the Brukenthal Museum, one of the first institutions of its kind in Europe. In 2015, the museum had over 400,000 visitors.

The iron gates


Iron Gates is the name of a defile on the Danube River. It is part of the border between Serbia and Romania. In the broad sense, it is 134 km from the Danube, in the narrower sense only the hydroelectric dam near the Romanian town, Orşova. At east of the Iron Gates, near the town Drobeta-Turnu Severin, there is Traian's bridge.

I visited Sibiu two times. My customer's production was located there. It was indeed beautiful. I have a dear friend who is from Romania.
