🌉America - Weekly Round-Up #29
Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed America roundup brought to you by @mrprofessor and @rimicane.
America is calling, and we are off to see exciting places. This time we begin with a tricky Salkantay hiking Trek to Aguas Calientes, which is an excellent alternative to the very touristy and expensive one to see Machu Picchu. Prepare yourselves for the next 5-7 hiking days! Sounds like a lot but you get rewarded with the beautiful vistas. Unfortunately, Peru is not always glam, and a situation with the rubbish contamination is getting out of hands. Luckily, we have left some fascinating nature views for the last to yet again enjoy the landscape without all the litter!
Three BEST posts for America

This 5-7-day trek through the mountains is crazy, savage, beautiful, and offers up a freedom which travelers rarely find in any trek, much less one leading to a destination as popular as the Picchu.

But the reality is very different - one can blame the weather and the fact that we tend to travel off the bitten track avoiding typical tourist traps so we see things normally not seen by an average visitor.

Yes this drive was a stressful drive and as much economical as it could be. When we came to the petrol station car’s computer showed we had fuel just for 3 more kilometers

Love it!! Every article is unique, particularly enjoyed reminiscing from the trips I did in 2014 & 2015 to USA, the first article is inspiring me to do a hike in that part of the world when I next decide to go on holiday.
I read the 2nd article from the Travelfeed discord channel and that's really sad the way litter can just do so much damage, people will never learn.
Unfortunately, the litter situation around the world is pretty bad. And it is not the first article about it, We can only learn and act accordingly.
We are glad, you have enjoyed the daily dose of new articles!
For the litter situation to improve, you have to have 100% of people making changes and taking responsibility for their trash. That is almost impossible.
I think the Blue Planet series in the UK really seemed to accelerate people's awareness of just how bad it has gotten. When David Attenborough speaks, people listen :) Hopefully this will start changing behaviours of more people.
The mountain view is amazing!
It is indeed!

The post by @route-m-d touched more people then they imagine!
A message for all travellers, if you can't pick a lot of trash out of nature, at least pick the maximum that you can, even if it's not yours.
