🌉America - Weekly Round-Up #28
Welcome to today's weekly Travelfeed America roundup brought to you by @guchtere and @for91days.
Ready for some beautiful nature from the Americas? The opening article is about a personal moment shared on Fathers Day, from Lake Elizabeth, in California. Next up, we have an introduction to an entire series about Ecuador. So, if you're planning on traveling to this country, you should definitely follow this author. Finally, we have a love letter to mountains, reminding us why they're so deserving of our attention, complete with some astounding photographs.
Three BEST posts for America

ake Elizabeth, near Forrest, is one of my favourite walks - not too hard, not too easy - just right. Forrest is such a rocking name for a town, isn't it? It used to be anything but 'rocking' though, being a sleepy logging town that we'd just drive through on the way 'down south' to the beaches right at the end of the Great Ocean Road, taking the country route rather than the winding and often treachourous ocean route.

What better way to see half of the country and travel freely than renting a car? Just across the arrival exit of the Mariscal Sucre airport, I saw the flags and advertising boards of the rental companies. This was way before they opened the new airport in Tababela.

I grew up in the foothills of the Blue Mountains, Sydney, Australia. A vast expanse of eucalyptus trees and exposed sandstone cliffs. I always loved trips up to the mountains. Winding roads, hidden rainforests and cute villages like Leura made for fun weekend visits.
