PONGOUR WATERFALL
The distinctive feature of the Pongour falls is the size. It is the largest near Dalat. These falls have a height of more than 45 meters and an expanse of more than 100 meters. The 7 levels of the Pongour waterfall are impressive and beautiful year round, but in the dry season much less water flows over the massive structure. On the upside, in the dry season, you can climb up several levels of the falls much more easily and safely for some really great photos.

ELEPHANT WATERFALL
The distinctive feature of the Elephant falls is your ability to experience the magnitude and majesty of the falls close up. You can climb down the rocks along the falls and then stand right under the spray. These falls are about 40 meters tall, and when the massive rush of waterfalls from that height, the sights and sounds are dramatic, poetic, and inspiring. In the dry season, the Elephant falls have the greatest flow of water.
DATANLA WATERFALL
The distinctive feature of the Datanla falls is the variety of activities there. The Datanla falls are a series of several smaller falls. While not as immense as Pongour or Elephant falls, Datanla falls are quite beautiful. And the Vietnamese have also made them fun!
Datanla falls are like an amusement park. For example, from the higher falls to the lower falls, there is a self-controlled roller coaster that whisks you down the mountain at surprisingly fast speeds. At other falls, you can use sections of the falls as your personal water slide. There is also rappelling, climbing, and a cable car.
PRENN WATERFALL
The distinctive feature of the Prenn falls is the overhanging falls. You can walk under the falls and views these serene falls from the backside. There is a very nice path under the falls complete with safety rails.
The site of Prenn falls also offers exotic animal rides. You can ride a water buffalo, an elephant, an ostrich, and a camel as you enjoy the beauty of the Prenn falls. This is an amazing experience.
If you have the time and inclination, visit all the falls near Dalat. Each has a story and offers a unique experience of Vietnam. But if you only have a few days in Dalat, these 4 falls are your best options. The carnivalesque elements are fun and will amuse you. And the natural beauty of the falls is rewarding and will awe you.
