Hitchhiking from Thailand to Spain sounds exciting and adventurous! How long do you expect it to take you? Do you have any time frame or do you know by when would you like to arrive in Spain? Just asking..
It looks like so far you've been really lucky with hitchhiking. It always makes me smile when I see that there are still people eager to help travelers.
It's nice that those kids asked you if you would like to meet with their teacher :) Getting to know locals is the best what you can do while traveling.

Actually we did this trip back in 2017. The whole trip took around 5 months. We started in April 2017 and finished in September 2017. The jouney could have been done much faster or much slower of course depending on what you want to see or how much you budget is.
Since then we have done another trip from Turkey to Azerbaijan and now we are back in SE Asia. We are new on Steem and it seems like an amazing place to share your journeys and meet fellow travellers.
That is definitely one of the main reasons we like to hitchhike...the people! It is the most amazing way of travelling and you end up in such interesting situations!
