Russian winter
Winter.
This is a great time if there is snow and frost. In Russia, frost in winter is a blessing. This year, snow fell just before the new year. Over the two weeks of the new year, snow was still added, but there are still no normal winter cold.
I recall the days of winter in the same numbers a year ago, two years ago, three years ago. I managed to catch a nice clear sunny day every year and take great photos.
In winter, it is very beautiful to see snow on tree branches, snow everywhere and the low winter sun, which makes the world so beautiful.
I took all these photos on the road between Yaroslavl and Kostroma. There are fields and forests, villages and small rivers.
I am pleased to see pictures of winter nature. Winter is the main Russian time. How many times general frost rescued Russian people. And in 1812, pushing Napoleon’s army from Russia, and in 1941, freezing the grease of German tanks.
Of course, when the invaders of the Russian land suffered from frost, Russian soldiers also experienced the effects of cold weather on themselves. But frosts occur in Russia every year and Russian people are more accustomed to this phenomenon.
Therefore, I look forward to the cold weather. It will be very pleasant to walk along the street, feeling a pinch of cold winter air on your skin, and then come home, have a hot tea and look out the window at the street where snow sparkles in the sun.
Magical winter days are coming now. While the street is cloudy and the temperature walks somewhere around 1-2 degrees of cold. But according to the forecast, in the coming days it should become clear and the sun and cold will again. And then I will take the camera and go again to photograph the winter nature.

Ok, now that is a Russian winter I’m shivering !
these photos are beautiful
Beautiful.
The mighty
river Nile: bread basket of the Pharaohs, delta
of Alexander the Great, inspiration for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Nile, and even James Bond paid it a visit in The Spy Who Loved Me. People have been sailing its waters for
thousands of years, and Nile cruising is a very
popular form of tourism. Many of Egypt’s ancient monuments are dotted along the Nile’s shores, and it’s one of the best ways to see the
country.
Whether you
choose to fly there or take the train, whether you are on a
budget or have money to spare; you can tailor your holiday to whatever suits
you. Most trips start and end in either Aswan or Luxor, though moving with the current is most
popular, and you can see all the major sites in just four days. If you’d like to spend more time taking in
the slowly lapping river, accompanying feluccas, countryside pastures and
amazing sunsets, there are trips that will take you between the two cities and
back to where you began.
