Not Complete to Gayo Lues, If Not Visit the Blue Pond

KABUPATEN Gayo Lues yang sering dijuluki dengan Negeri Seribu Bukit, selain terkenal dengan budayanya, terkenal juga dengan beberapa tempat wisatanya yang menarik untuk dikunjungi. Salah satunya tempat wisata Kolam Biru di Desa Rerebe Kecamatan Tripe Jaya Kab.Gayo Lues.
Disebut Kolam Biru, karena memang airnya berwarna biru yang bersumber dari pegunungan dan mengalir melalui batu-batu terjal sebelum tertampung kedalam telaga tersebut.
Lokasinya berjarak sekitar 45 kilometer dari pusat Kota Blangkejeren. Banyak dikunjungi warga Gayo Lues dan para tamu yang datang untuk beberapa keperluan ke negeri Gayo yang paling mendunia karena tari Saman ini.
Abdul Karim Gayo, salah satu warga Blangkejeren yang berkunjung ke Kolam Biru saat ditanya pengalamannya berwisata ke tempat tersebut Kamis, 17 Mei 2012 menerangkan lokasi wisata Kolam Biru panoramanya sangat indah, terlebih dengan adanya air terjun dilokasi tersebut.
“Pada hari libur, tempat tersebut banyak dikunjungi warga. Pengunjungnya mencapai ratusan orang seperti yang saya saksikan hari ini,” kata Abdul Karim Gayo bersemangat.
Lokasinya juga strategis, tambahnya, karena tidak perlu jauh-jauh berjalan kaki mendaki gunung agar sampai ke lokasi. Akses jalan dari Blangkejeren beraspal mulus. “Belum ke Gayo Lues jika belum ke Kolam Biru,” timpalnya.DISTRICT Gayo Lues is often dubbed the Land of Thousand Hill, besides famous for its culture, also known as some interesting places to visit.
