Travel Digest #371
Introduction
Heya all, @martibis here with another edition of #traveldigest! I've been incredibly busy since Steemfest, working on a Monster Maker for Steemmonster and getting ready to go to Thailand for an unknown period of time. This has caused a very important post about the future of Steemitworldmap to have gone unwritten up until this point, but I do promise it's coming one of these days! Likely after I've arrived in Bangkok!
I do already want to make a small shout-out now though to the delegators who make it possible for the Steemitworldmap-team to spend time on development and curation every day. Sooo huge thanks to: @roelandp, @pharesim, @oroger, @tobixen, @walterjay, @lpv, @crimsonclad, @bobaphet, @lizanomadsoul (who has joined the SWM-team by the way!!! But more on that later), @abh12345, @derekrichardson (who by coincidence is also featured in todays digest) and @jny.untraveled! Thank you so much!

#1 Night Crawling in Barcelona
@jocqua takes us to Barcelona, Spain where we go on an epic 3 hour long night stroll, all alone! There is something about nightly city scenes that is appealing, on top of that there are some works to be found by street artist Invader! All of this is not just fun and games though, as whilst taking pictures, @jocqua sees a creepy dude slowly but steadily coming closer with a I'm-up-to-no-good-grin! After seeing an alleged bike robbery as well, it's time to turn back and call it a night!

@derekrichardson takes us to the Big Santa Anita Canyon in California, USA. It's easy to see why this is a popular hiking spot, with waterfalls lingering all around in this lush canyon. Along the trails you'll find rustic cabins, where people still live the way they might've a hundred years ago! The most popular waterfall is Sturtevant, and whilst beautiful, you might want to avoid it during weekends as it can get crowded! The second biggest waterfall is Hermit Falls, whilst it's a super cool location where you can jump off the cliffs in the water humans have left their mark by leaving trash and graffiti all over. There are more beautiful spots to find out about, but you'll have to check this post to find out about those!

@daveonarrival takes us with him on his Steemfest adventures in Krakow, Poland. In this part we get taken along the first day of the conferences, where we get to learn more about the current projects being developed on the Steem blockchain! Ofcourse some jamming outside of the venue is not to be missed! After checking out several talks and having dinner, it's time to go full out bowling with all the other steemians around!

Likewise! Would love to see you there!!!
This is the spirit ;)
Solid project, good luck with it!
Thanks man, appreciate the support a lot!
Thanks @martibis! It's always an honor to be featured in the travel digest. I'm just noticing this "find this user on the map" feature, that's pretty cool! I've gotta check out that Steemfest post. I'm so jealous I couldn't go. lol.
You only found out about this now, haha! The author link in the automated comment is the same link!
Would've been awesome to see you there!
Ay, so many things going on that sometimes (a bunch of the time actually) I miss the details. I think that is so awesome though. I was surprised I only had 58 posts on the map. I gotta quit slacking. lol.
Someday I'll get to go to Steemfest... (sigh).
Haha, 100% understandable!
58 is still a lot in my opinion! Also your posts are often quite lengthy and high quality, so that can cause you to write less of course!
Next year! Or come join us for a mini Steemfest in Thailand, haha!
Thanks for the honourable mention
