Hi my name is Scotty I'm from South Africa. I started a blog about traveling all about the beautiful coastlines of South Africa.

My aim will be to show you all the fabulous holiday destinations along the coastlines of South Africa and what it has to offer for children and adults.

Because I have never been overseas. I am very curious about your coastlines. How it look and what it has to offer.

Cape Town

Cape Town is one of South Africa's most popular tourist destinations for local and international tourists.

You can take a cable car trip up Table Mountain which is a very scenic outing. Table Mountain got its name from its flat-top and is a famous landmark, from here you can see the whole of Cape Town and Robben Island.

Moving on to Durban.

Durban is also a very big tourist destination situated on the warm Indian Ocean and known for its wonderful Golden Mile beaches. What makes it especially popular is the all year round subtropical weather.

Durban harbour is the largest and busiest harbour in Sub-Saharan Africa it handles over 31 million tons of Cargo each year. It is also a very popular Harbour for luxury passenger ships.

Jeffreys Bay or J-Bay as the locals like to call it.

Jeffreys Bay is one of the most popular surfing destinations in South Africa and some international surfing competitions are hosted here annually. Jeffreys Bay is also the start of the popular Garden Route in South Africa.

The Wild Coast of South Africa

This is a stretch of coastline like the name suggested untamed and wild.

The photo below is the hole in the Wall that is a famous landmark of the Wild Coast.
