Merlion in Merlion Park Marina Bay Singapore, Singapore
This is a must see attraction in the Marina Bay area of Singapore. The Merlion is the national icon of Singapore, which has a head of a lion and a body of a fish. The Merlion represent the origins of Singapore, the body of the fish represents the fishing village and sea town beginnings and the lion represents the original name of the country Singapura, which means "lion city".
This is one of 3 big Merlion statues in Singapore, the others are located in Santosa island near Universal Studios and the other on Mount Faber.
There are several other attractions that surround the Merilion in the Marina Bay Park such as the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, the open air theater, and the high rises of the financial district downtown.
This attraction is beautiful not only during the day, but also during the night when the Marina Bay lights up and gives the scene a completely different experience. I would high recommend visiting this tourist attraction if anyone is thinking about visiting Singapore.
Nice shot! Especially the last pic🖒😊
