Gunsan, South Korea (Mini Road Trip)
Spontaneous moments can lead to a creation of good memories.
It may not be the best but it can be something that you can keep and remember as an experience.
And experiences gives people knowledge of what life is deeply about.
Everything counts. All the good and the bad. The little things and the big things.
Balance is the key.
On Monday, September 17, 2018 I went on a mini road trip to Gunsan, South Korea with a good friend of mine, @jvholmes, who owns a sock business called Kimchi Socks.
The place is at the country side so I was able to connect more with nature and see another side of Korea.
I also observed the differences and similarities between the people living there and the people living in the major cities, like Seoul.
It was cool to learn that one of the US Air Force base was there and learned more about how business works.
This is the hotel that we stayed in, Ramada Gunsan Hotel.
It was pretty expensive for a small room unfortunately but the bed was nice to sleep in.
Then we went to the beautiful Eunpa Lake Park.
Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of it when night dawned over and wasn't able to walk around alone to take in the place and cherish it longer.
But during the time I was there, I can still feel how nice and peaceful it was.
I'll use the night time pictures that are already online and post the day time pictures that I took personally.
At that park, there are cafes and restaurants that people can go to.
We went to chill at the Coffee Bay and momentarily worked there.
I ordered bubble tea and a he ordered an Americano.
I really, truly love the cafe culture that South Korea has.
I wish it was everywhere as it's very relaxing to be in.
At night we went to eat at a Korean BBQ place & ordered Samgyeopsal (pork).
In these kind of restaurants, they also prepare a lot of side dishes.
It's really delicious!
Then we drank at a bar called Single & Single that is located in Soosong-dong, Gunsan City.
(The pictures below aren't mine but I wanted to show the place & food)
That is pretty much all that we did in just one day.
I love mini road trips as it helps rejuvenate one's mind and heart.
Especially where you're in a place surrounded by nature.
It let's you look within and be connected with the Universe.
