One of the most amazing castles in the world
I had previously heard of St. Vitus Cathedral, but did not know what a breathtakingly beautiful church he is. Unfortunately, many other tourists had the same idea, so we had too little time to look at this gothic jewel in peace. We would have liked to spend more time in the St. Vitus Cathedral, but were pushed through by the crowd. An absolute highlight is the tower, which offers beautiful views of Prague.
A Gothic masterpiece! The spiers are exceptional, incredible to think that those stones have been masterfully carved and perforated by hand, one by one. It is difficult to imagine such human ingenuity. The windows are simply magical, an endless kaleidoscope of colors, which throw supernatural reflections inside, creating a unique atmosphere. The sepulcher of St. John Nepomuceno, all in silver, is imposing. The references to the natural world, in the interior architecture, are very frequent and fascinating. Some columns and walls are embellished with beautiful and suggestive masonry leaves and branches. A visit to San Vito is well worth the crush that you must face to get in! A little patience, and the human rivers pass by, and you can enjoy the place fully!
