Old Town Magic
With it's astronomical clock, churches, gorgeous buildings and cobblestone paving, it is a bustling hive of old and new. There is so much to look at without spending a penny, although walking through the square with a czech in hand makes the experience that much sweeter. Restaurants in this area are definitely very expensive in comparison to the rest of Prague, we drank a lot of Star bucks as their prices for volume of cappacino surpassed every cafe or restaurant we tried. There are tons of little markets, food stalls, and loads of tourist memento's to look through and buy. My mom and I had many a wonderful stroll and shop through this square. n this beautiful square you can fins some of the buildings and monuments that are so identified with the city such as the Tyn church, the astronomical clock, the old town house, the Jan Hus statue.... Lots of artists in the square. The Clock is under construction and although they promised a led screen with the experience of the attraction, nothing was shown.
Without LED ... .still looks magical ;)
