Lovely part of historical Prague
There was just so much to see in the Square. They had a large number of stalls selling a variety of food and goods. The buildings are amazing and there are so many shops to browse or buy. I was able to purchase a beautiful hand painted plate. Something that will always say I was in Prague. The Old Town Square is so central it is easy to see so many other places of interest within a short walking distances. For anyone with a love of culture, architecture, food or alcohol this is a place to see. Although slightly more expensive then the side streets it offers a wonderful experience. The gorgeous builds surrounding it provide a wonderful view and the culture and bustle of this unique old town square is a true experience. The old town square is the heart of old Prague and is a beautiful place to just sit and relax and see the tourists go by. It is full of historical and beautiful buildings and churches and is dominated by the huge monument to Jan Hus, one of the most important Czech in Czech history. It is also the site of the Prague Meridian.
