Me and Ours : EUROPE TRIP 2018

Helllooooo Friends and Steem family :D

I have been taking quite a few breaks now but this one was for a very goood reason. We took a 45 day tour around the beautiful cities of European Union.

August, 2017

We first decided to do it around August 2016 last year. Me, my husband and my friend were just hanging out and we were discussing how awesome it would be if we could do it. The next day he and she talked again. She said we talked about the Eurotrip and i think its time we start saving money. They even talked about going in April-June 2018. She told/asked her husband if they could do it. And he said, " We might as well try". (she had just gotten married, they had moved from Gurgaon to Goa, but he was POSITIVE)

February, 2017

She texts, "We go Thailand"
I text, "Nooo We go next year Eurotrip ; Its Final; Start Planning"

Sumit texts, " Any specific countries or cities you want to cover in our eurotrip next year"
Aman (friends husband), " IBIZA BArCelona Athens Santorini"

March - July, 2017

First List: France, Portugal, Greece, Iceland, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, England, Netherlands
Second List: London, Netherlands, France, Germany, Czech republic, Hungary, Greece
Second Alternate List: London, Netherlands, Germany, France, Monaco/Corsica, Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece
Third List: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Czech republic, Austria, Italy, France, Spain

At end of these list we came to this decision that we can do all the countries we want to do and they can do the countries they want to do. Me and Sumit had already done Spain and Italy so we wanted to go to Germany and they wanted to do some parts of Italy and Slovenia. Which was cool. And I think thats why they were the best travel partners. There was no miscommunication. No extra efforts. It was natural. Almost a Smooth Sail.

October, 2017

Our Sixth List: Nice, Paris, Ghent, Amsterdam , Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, Athens

December, 2018

We started the BOOKINGS. Hostels, Airbnbs and Hotels.

Our 24th December List: Nice, Paris, Ghent, Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin , Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb, Plitvice, Hvar, Dubrovnik, Athens, Mykonos, Santorini

We decided that Hvar we could visit from Dubrovnik like a day trip. We were finally goooingggg. Omggg.
March 2018 . Say whaaa? I thought it was june and going to be good summer days but March. I had come from US because of the bad cold == i didnt want to go in it. Bookings were done. Everything was set. Would have to deal with the Cold.

February 2018

We had our visa, they were still trying to find their marriage certificate to apply. All of us were tense. We didnt want anything to come in our way. Temperatures looked promising. Looked like Summer had arrived early. The forecast showed double digits.

** March 2018**

Two backpacks, two 65l backpackers, jacket, walking shoes and granola bars. As light as we could travel. Intention of 0 shopping and getting the experience of our life times. Most of our bag was full of sweater. Shorts were as below as it could be because they were mostly going to come in use at the end of trip. Greece <3 . Had kinda lost "few pounds" instead of the "summer body target" . We were happy . Free. Ready.
