Tour of Downtown Chicago

Being such a spontaneous person, it doesn't take much for me to pack a bag and hit the road. I recently enjoyed a road trip to Chicago from my hometown in central Texas. Even better when you have someone willing to say, "what the hay! Let's do it!!" So me and a co-worker/friend grabbed our kiddos right after work and hit the road. I drove straight there from 7:30 in the evening all the way until 2:00 in the afternoon. That's when we made it to our hotel. How I did it, Lord only knows. As soon as we get there we hit the ground running! I got a second wind and we began touring the city by taking the Blue line downtown. We visited Navy Pier, The tallest tower in the world (Willis Tower) and even got lost a few times. Of course, we had to enjoy Chicago's well known staples while we were there! We had deep dish pizza, hot dogs and Garrett's popcorn!! Ahhhh! Until next time!! Who's coming with me?!
