Magic Island Koh Phangan !

Today I want to share with you my trip to the magic island Pha Ngan. How I have lived there for a long time, have seen amazing places and have met incredibly interesting people. I decided to start my story from telling about the island, where my trip through Asia has started. So, let's start)

 

Koh-Phangan (part 1) !

Island Phangan or Ko Pha Ngan is in Gulf of Thailand in Surat Thani Province, in 15 km from the island Ko Samui.

The island is amazing with its picturesque coves, endless green roads, pirate Tortugas and pink crystals - that's how Phangan is in a nutshell.

According to the local legend, the island is located at the place where the rose quartz come from. It is believed that this mineral accelerates the execution of the true desires of humans. It seems the pink quartz are relaxing and can put you in the state of: calmness, contemplation, no thoughts in the head and inner warms.

On the island of Phangan one can see the coexistence and joy of people, practicing yoga and raw food, working on spiritual growth and leading the right lifestyle and lovers to smoke weed, hippies and party-people. Everyone will find something for himself on this island. Some people come here for a couple of weeks, but the island is so addictive, that some of them stay for a year.

Phangan is different: sometimes it’s esoteric, sometimes philosophical, and sometimes rave.

This is how people have made it.

The silence of the island gives the opportunity to hear the most delicate harmony of consciousness.

I have been to many places, but haven’t seen anywhere else such beautiful and colorful beaches as on Pha Ngan.

The highest point on the island is Mount Khao Ra. And to get there, one needs to overcome a couple of hard hourly hitchhiking through the jungle. At the top of the mountain you can see almost the entire island, as if on the palm, surrounded by silence and endless jungles.

Gentle sunrises and breathtaking sunsets.
