Motorcycle travel series by @velimir 'Zagorje 28' (Part #84)

After that good looking fellow scared the life out of me, he puts the rock down, smiles at me and takes me home to meet his family. We arrive at the fireplace site out in the open. "It's a hunting camp, not their home", is the first thought that crosses my mind. His woman nods her head at me and continues to tend to the fire as kids giggle away looking at my motorcycle jacket.

The children throw a few pine cones into the fire as the mother keeps working the fire with a large bone.

I observe the woman working, the kids stop playing. They start carefully observing their mom. She mumbles something to me but I hardly can understand.

Her face is looking tired but she doesn't seem to think about much aside from the task at hand. I believe that she lives much more in the "now" moment than most of us do today. We often live in the past, we tend to live in the possible futures, and we are seldom where our bodies are, as well...

So much about the past and the future. The only guaranteed and definite event is portrayed here:

As the father and oldest son leave again to continue hunting, I sit on the ground and listen to the mother tell a story about a bear and a beaver to her children.

One fine sunny day, a beaver was happily walking in the woods...
