Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'The Old Magic' (Part #250)
'The Old Magic'
It's getting late. Not so late in the sense of time but rather that of light. The road takes me further through the hills. I'm riding aware of the cold, thinking of where to stop for a cup of coffee. A smoking dwarf jumps on the road and waves me to stop. Impressed by his openness and in absolute awe of the magic that he's yielding, I pull over.
I find myself in a spot where true becomes unreal and non-existent takes over the senses. The signs are clear, there is no doubt. Old Croatian magic is present in this place. That art that hasn't been used publicly for centuries but still remains alive within the population. Some people just know how to work spirits in their favour.
The dwarf shows me the way to the other side of the bridge. Bound by his powers, I obediently follow. The bridge is old and creeky. At some point, I ask myself if this was a good idea. The dwarf smiles and waves to move on. As I cross, I find some more irrefutable evidence to what I already know. The cold sweat rolls off my forehead even though it is cold and I shouldn't be sweating.
The dwarf smiles and introduces me to a buddy of his. The dwarf holding the accordion greets me, smiles and then starts playing cheerful music as if he wants to make me feel better in this strange place. I know what's next. A crowd of their brothers and sisters will soon appear and take me to the place from which no man returns as it is eternally spellbound. Am I scared? Yes, I am. There is no shame in that...
Then, their plan reveals. As if woken up, I leave the little tricksters and run back to my motorcycle. The dwarfs were merely helping a ghost steal my bike. Well, maybe not steal but try how it feels sitting on it. The ghosts don't steal bikes, not even the bad ones. Didn't see that coming...
I don't mind him trying it out but why use all that magic just to sit on Precious? :D I guess ghosts have their earthly needs. There are far than a few things between heavens and earth. Was enough to just ask. :D
Enjoy your day! :-)

The magic of the irresistible dwarf smile. Hahahahaha
The tourist destination called Dwarf Empire is located in Xishan Hills, a suburb of Kunming, Yunnan. Actually they are not mini-human dwarfs such as affixes in film-fim fairy tales that we often watch. But only a group of short people.
Approximately, there are about 100 people whose height only reaches 130 meters. They live in houses that were built. With striking and eye-catching colors.
Just like life in a kingdom, they are also equipped with fairy costumes, emperors, merchants and princesses. Their unique performances successfully tickled the laughter of visitors who come.
To make it more dramatic, all the buildings in the Imperial Dwarf were built small. The residents are also good at singing and dancing in welcoming tourists in attendance. They serve interesting attractions twice a day.
This is according to the story I heard, about me also not sure.
Ahahahahaha! What a great story!
I was part of a show one day, we wanted to show the people at a car show what 25 Honda STs looked like in a group. Most of the people had never even looked at one...
We went to eat at a local restaurant, took a couple of hours what with looking at the cars and such. When we wandered back to our motorcycles there were two obviously drunk little old ladies trying them out. One was sitting on MINE. Making the noise. One of the funniest things I've ever seen. Since she didn't knock it down, in which case I'd have been flaming pissed.
Thanks for a wonderful story and the great photos!

Your motorcycle rides are really wonderful. Since when are you traveling on motorcycle? Any which places did you visit so far? It would be nice if you just give a broad overview, such as just tell the continent that you explored the most. Thanks :)
