Hi you guys! I left Steemit for a while, I had no time with college and work but now I'm back and Green Science in action serie is back too! I just want to tell you how excited I am because I'm traveling to Germany in a week and well, I got the job I'm talking you about because I needed the money to do it and HERE I GO!

My call-center buddies

Well, I started working on January in a call center. I worked before in one of those but only for a month, in vacations, and let me tell you something; I didn't remember how exhausting is working in those places! I'm from Colombia and US people called us to complain about the tv, homephone and internet service (SO FUN!) and some of them were reaaally rude but others were so kind and talkative (If you have Comcast and you called to ask for technical service maybe I helped you ☺)

San Valentine's day ♥

Even though I had calls lasting one hour or more (once a woman made me stay in the phone for an hour and a half, and she just cried the last 30 minutos of it; was the useless call I ever had because she didn't even let me help her with her modem!) I had a lot of fun too! We had pizza parties, we took funny pics in San Valentine's day and we also celebrated San Patrics day.

Well, 3 months later I got really busy in college (I barely slept 4 or 5 hours a day) and I decided to quit. I started then working with the money I had earned and saved from those 3 months on trading altcoins, which has been pretty exciting and profitable, how ever stressful sometimes and with little losses. And even though I don't have the whole money I need at this moment, I LOVE the idea of going to Germany because it is one of the countries that are working forward Renewable energies, the area I'll specialize in.

Europe Itinerary

So we're going to Europe with my college friends and my favourite teacher and we will visit some universities there, like the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Hochshule University in Offenburg in the Gengenbach campus, Oldenburg University and Berlin Technical University, each of them are specialized in a kind of renewable energy.

I'll be telling you about this little adventure and off course I'll be writing about green science too. Thanks a lot for reading me ☻

¡Hola chicos! Dejé Steemit por un tiempo ya que no tenía tiempo con la universidad y el trabajo, pero ahora estoy de vuelta y la seria Ciencia Verde en Acción también está de vuelta. Sólo quiero contarles lo emocionada que estoy de viajar a Europa en una semana y bueno, acepté el trabajo porque necesitaba dinero para ir y... ¡ALLÁ VOY!

Mis compañeros y yo en el Call-center

Bien, empecé a trabajar en enero en un Call center. Ya había trabajado en uno de estos lugares, pero sólo por un mes y déjenme decirles algo; No recordaba lo agotador que es trabajar en esos lugares! Soy de Colombia y mi trabajo era ayudar a personas de EEUU para arreglar su tv, cable y telefono. Algunos de ellos eran groseros pero otros eran excelentes conversadores y muy buenas personas (si tienes servicio con Comcast y llamaste algunas vez a solicitar servicio técnico, tal vez yo te ayudé ☺).

Día de San Valentín ♥

Aunque tenía llamadas que duraban una hora o más (una vez una señora me hizo quedar en el teléfono por hora y media y durante esa última media hora sólo lloraba, ¡fue la llamada más inútil que tuve porque ella ni siquiera me dejó ayudarla con su módem!), era también muy divertido. Teníamos Pizza Parties, nos tomamos fotos graciosas y celebramos el día e San Valentín y también el día de San Patricio.

Así era cada vez que intentaba vender un paquete de tv, internet y teléfono

Bien, 3 meses después de obtener el empleo me ocupé mucho en la Universidad y decidí renunciar. Comencé a trabajar con el dinero que había ganado y ahorrado esos 3 meses en altcoin traiding, lo que ha sido muy emocionante y rentable, aunque también es estresante y a veces hay pérdidas. Ahora, aunque no tengo todo el dinero que necesito para irme, AMO la idea de ir a Alemania porque es uno de los países que trabaja duro para el desarrollo de energías renovables.

Itinerario de Europa

Entonces, vamos a ir a Europa con mis compañeros y mi profesor favorito y visitaremos universidades ahí, como la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, la Universidad de Hochshule en Offenburg, la Universidad de Oldnburg y también la Universidad Técnica de Berlín. Cada una de estas universidades está especializada en un tipo de energía renovable.
