The word 'pamukkale' signifies 'cotton palace'. The mineral woodland by which these warm pools are shaped really resembles a cotton stronghold. That is the reason this site named so

It has been utilized as a warm spa since second Century B.C
The hot mineral rich waters of Pamukkale can recuperate a few skin conditions.
