Central Aceh (Takengon) keeps many tourist attractions that make me want to come back. A beautiful lake lies in the Gayo highlands, Central Aceh District of Aceh Province. Lake Laut Tawar. Tourist attractions, photo spots, nature tours, tourist attractions full of charm.
Laut Tawar there is a tourism potential of Aceh which is famous all over Indonesia, where the shooting is very popular with tourists. Fascinated by young children who also love adventure, suitable also for children to adults. Go yourself cool, with friends of the community more cool, also when traveling with family.
Initially we think the picture of this lake is the same as other lakes in Indonesia. But the thought was wrong. Looked straight, circled a few times, felt the journey of excitement along with friends. Lake Laut Tawar apparently save a lot of beauty and history of society (mystic).
This lake not only holds a lot of beauty, the story of its origin, and this mystery, it is worth to visit and we know it. I love and enjoy the panoramic beauty. The combination of terrain, hills and waters around Lake Laut Tawar presents beautiful natural beauty. We can also watch the daily activities of the Gayo highlands community around the lake. From farming to fishing, fishing, gardening, plantation pest hunting. The largest lake in Aceh has an area of approximately 5,472 hectares. The length is about 17 km with a width of about 3.2 km.
Lots of beautiful pictures around the lake. Did not stop at all places and took many photos. Makes us come back next time with other friends. The colors of the grasses of the hills are different in other seasons. Sometimes green sometimes yellowish. Provide a different nuance in each of our visits. One moment the sky is dominated by white because of cloudy and rainy, cool also drink coffee at a warung near the edge of the lake. Enjoy the serene atmosphere. On other occasions the weather is sunny, spoiling the photographers with blue skies. All have their own beauty.
To enjoy the beauty of Lake Laut Tawar we do not have to pay entrance fee. We can freely choose on the edge where to relax for free. In some places the scenery is very beautiful.
Do not forget to enjoy the culinary tour on the edge of the lake. Sipping Gayo Coffee. Or eat fish depik that tastes savory. We can also wonder at the restaurant in Takengon.
For lodging, we can choose to stay in Takengon Town or inn on the lake.

Aceh Tengah (Takengon) menyimpan banyak tempat wisata yang membuat saya ingin mendatanginya kembali. Sebuah danau yang indah terletak pada dataran tinggi Gayo, Kabupaten Aceh Tengah Provinsi Aceh ini. Wisata Danau Laut Tawar. Objek wisata, spot foto, wisata alam, tempat wisata penuh pesona.
Didanau Laut Tawar ada sebuah potensi wisata Aceh yang terkenal seluruh Indonesia, tempat pengambilan foto yang sangat digemari wisatawan. Digemari anak-anak muda juga yang senang berpetualang, cocok juga buat anak-anak sampai orang dewasa. Pergi sendiri asik, bersama kawan-kawan komunitas lebih asik, juga bila berwisata bersama keluarga.
Awalnya kita berpikir gambaran danau ini sama saja dengan danau-danau lain di Indonesia. Namun pikiran itu ternyata salah besar. Melihat langsung, mengelilingi beberapa kali, merasakan pengalaman keseruan jalan-jalan bersama kawan-kawan. Danau Laut Tawar ternyata menyimpan banyak keindahan dan sejarah masyarakatnya (mistis).
## Pesona Alam Danau Laut Tawar
Danau ini tidak hanya menyimpan banyak keindahan, cerita asal usul daerahnya, dan misteri ini, sangat layak untuk didatangi dan kita mengetahuinya. Saya suka sekali dan senang dengan panorama keindahannya. Kombinasi dataran, bebukitan, dan perairan di sekeliling Danau Laut Tawar menyajikan keindahan alam yang menawan. Kita juga dapat menyaksikan pula aktivitas harian masyarakat dataran tinggi Gayo di sekitar danau. Dari bercocoktanam, memancing, berkebun , berburu hama perkebunan. Danau terluas di Aceh ini mempunyai luas sekitar 5.472 hektar. Panjang sekitar 17 km dengan lebar sekitar 3,2 km.
Banyak sekali foto-foto indah di sekeliling danau. Tidak sempat berhenti di semua tempat dan memotret banyak. Membuat kita datang kembalii di lain waktu bersama kawan-kawan yang lain. Warna-warni rerumputan bebukitan pun berbeda-beda di lain musim. Kadang hijau kadang kekuningan. Memberikan nuansa berbeda di setiap kunjungan kita. Satu saat langit didominasi putih karena mendung dan hujan, asik juga minum kopi di warung dekat tepi danau. Menikmati suasana syahdu. Di kesempatan lain cuaca cerah, memanjakan para fotografer dengan langit biru. Semua ada keindahan masing-masing.
Untuk menikmati keindahan Danau Laut Tawar kita tidak perlu membayar tiket masuk. Kita bisa bebas memilih di tepian mana untuk bersantai dengan gratis. Di beberapa tempat pemandangannya sangat indah.
Jangan lupa menikmati wisata kuliner di tepian danau. Menyeruput kopi Gayo. Atau meyantap ikan depik yang rasanya gurih. Kita juga bisa tanya-tanya di rumah makan yang ada di Takengon.
Untuk penginapan, kita bisa memilih menginap di Kota Takengon atau penginapan yang ada di tepi danau.
