Bank for International Settlements - Basel, Switzerland - the most mysterious financial institution in the world

Here are some of the photos we made during our visit to Switzerland. Tourists usually avoid this place. They do not know. The main sight of Basel is here.

You may did not hear a thing about Bank for International Settlements before but actually it is among the most powerful financial institutions of the world. Let me tell you just one fact that this Bank alone possess nearly 700 metric tons of gold. Only 4 or 5 countries in the world have more gold than this one institution.

Rumors say that this bank is actually the headquarters of so called "world secret government". I don't know if it's true but we actually noticed from 7 to 10 surveillance cameras just near the main entrance. A car of a private security company arrived promptly after we started filming near the main entrance giving a hint that we are not desirable near this building.

We did not notice any similar security measures anywhere else in Basel, including near buildings of private banks and companies. Basel seemed a very friendly town for tourists except this place.
