A Few Last Adventures in Sydney

On our last day here we had no idea what to do other than chill. Until my Mum texted me asking if we had been to the observatory, no we had not! So we found it on a map and off we went.

The observatory was a little building with fairly rich history, some interesting exhibits and large telescopes:

I strongly recommend a visit if you ever find yourself in the area. We ate lunch on a bench on the green outside. After that we popped into Dymocks to peruse the Lonely Planet guides, and drink strawberry milkshake.

Eventually it was time to leave, at the airport we ate doughnuts. Then on the plane I watched the entire Gunpowder series starring Kit Harrigton which was pretty good. Several hours later, upon arrival at Perth we were greeted by the delicious woodsmoke scent of WA.
