The wonders of compression sacks!

Planning a trip? Troubled by baggage restrictions or can't fit it all in your backpack?

I found compression sacks help solve these problems.

First roll the items together. Weather it's your tent.

Bedding.

Of clothes.

Gently roll them. Clothing will wrinkle some but most lodging arrangements have irons or hang them while you shower. The steam will relax the fabric. Laying them flat under the matress helps.

Stuff into sacks, rolls don't have to be extremely tight because all will be compressed to the roundness of the sack.

Gently pull side straps evenly and snuggly.

Notice the size difference?

I can fit all of that into my backpack and still have room for food, water and my kitchen.
