Can a baby remember traveling? Travel with Salima & Timo

I am writing this article, because we were very much criticized before the trip. In my ear is still the sentence, "You know that it is dull-witted with a baby travel, since it can not remember anyway and that memories only begin at 3 years"

So, in their opinion, the right time would be to start at only 3 years. Apart from the fact that we had already learned how to not let our lives be determined by others, we wondered how the people came to it. Just because there are some scientists who have investigated this "fact" neurological and it is on some Internet sites.

Apart from that, it is not important to us that our daughter remembered where she was, after all she did not have to write an essay about it later. We are convinced that much is happening in the subconscious, and the human being is much more complicated than we all assume.

We watch the last few months, how friendly and open-minded Emilia is towards people. How interested and curious she is. How she learned to understand the gestures and facial expressions of the people in different countries.

By traveling with us she has her parents around her every day. She enjoys the time with both of us, both parents always have to be there. This had not been the case before, because she had been fixed on me as a mother before the trip. But quickly this had changed. In some things, Timo is even more in demand than I am. She falls asleep better when Timo is next to her. Not only for you is the journey beautiful, also for us. Together, we experience the first precious years of life with her.

We have many happy days, where we all look and glow at the same time. I am sure that if we had not made this trip, this happy moment would be three times less frequent.

Timo would have been at work every day, and would be home late - the little one would sleep or quarrel in time, because she is tired when he comes home.

It is much more important to feel the security and the love between us, or between all the people we encounter on the journey. We are convinced that these beautiful moments are already shaping them positively. A baby learns about his environment every day. So now on the trip.

Our journey is not finished, we will go on together together. We want to teach her openness and respect towards people, animals and nature. Would you like to show how beautiful our world is out there, but how fragile this world is if you do not pay attention to them. A trip has no age restriction.

Whether it is subconsciously remembered or consciously, that does not matter to us. This journey has changed all three of us. Inwardly more than one would assume.
