My best Shots from HONG KONG – Part 1 [EN/DE]

Hello Steemians! In some of my posts I have already shown you several photos of Hong Kong, but I have so much more pictures of this impressive metropolis that I would like to present all of them to you in two parts. Today I'd like to show you my shots from the city center and the view from the amazing viewpoint, Victroia Peak. I think with such a famous city, it makes little sense to tell you many general things about it. So we better start right away with the photos:

Hallo Steemianer! In einigen meiner bisherigen Posts habe ich euch schon ein paar meiner Fotos von Hong Kong gezeigt. Ich habe jedoch noch so viele weitere Aufnahmen aus dieser beeindruckenden Metropole, dass ich euch diese nun mal gesammelt in zwei Teilen präsentieren möchte. Heute zeige ich euch meine Aufnahmen aus dem Stadtzentrum und die Aussicht vom bekanntesten Aussichtspunkt der Stadt, Victroia Peak. Ich denke, bei so einer berühmten Stadt, macht es wenig Sinn, euch viele allgemeine Dinge darüber zu erzählen. Also starten wir lieber gleich mit den Fotos:

The Bank of China Tower is one of Hong Kong's most famous landmarks and also my personal favourite building of the city. At 367m height, it was the tallest building in Hong Kong when it was built in 1990.

Der Bank of China Tower ist eines der markantesten Wahrzeichen Hong Kongs und auch mein persönliches Lieblingsgebäude der Stadt. Mit 367m Höhe war er zu seiner Fertigstellung im Jahr 1990 das höchste Gebäude Hong Kongs.

Just a stone's throw away there are the twin towers of the Lippo Centre. I heard that the unique shape of the building reminds some people of koalas climbing up a tree 🤔

Nur einen Steinwurf davon entfernt, befinden sich die Doppeltürme des Lippo Centres. Die einzigartige Form des Gebäudes erinnert manche Leute angeblich an Koalas, die einen Baum hinaufklettern 🤔

The two-storey trams are an integral part of Hong Kong's city center and run almost every minute. I would recommend everyone to take a few laps with these cheap and classic vehicles to get a first impression of the city.

Die zweistöckigen Straßenbahnen sind fixer Bestandteil von Hong Kongs Stadtzentrum und verkehren fast im Minutentakt. Ich würde jedem empfehlen, ein paar Runden mit diesen günstigen und klassischen Verkehrsmitteln zu drehen, um einen ersten Eindruck von der Stadt zu gewinnen.

At the numerous piers you can watch fishermen at work and take a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city.

An den zahlreichen Piers kann man Fischern bei Ihrer Arbeit zusehen und sich eine kleine Auszeit von der Hektik der Innenstadt gönnen.

Many parks and green spaces can be found throughout the city and offer you new perspectives on the countless skyscrapers on your walks.

Zahlreise Parks und Grünflächen findet ihr in der gesamten Stadt. Sie bieten euch, auf euren Spaziergängen, immer wieder neue Perspektiven auf die unzähligen Wolkenkratzer.

Particularly interesting views can be enjoyed from the numerous pedestrian overpasses and bridges. Here you can see the International Finance Centre, with its 412m the second tallest building of the city.

Besonders interessante Ausblicke genießt man von den zahlreichen Fußgängerüberführungen und Brücken. Hier seht ihr das International Finance Centre, das mit seinen 412m das zweithöchste Gebäude der Stadt ist.

A beautiful green oasis with numerous attractions is the hilly Hong Kong Park. From there it is not far to the bottom station of the Peak Tram.

Eine wunderschöne, grüne Oase mit zahlreichen Attraktionen ist der hügelige Hong Kong Park. Von dort ist es nicht weit bis zur Talstation der Peak Tram.

Once you have passed the mostly very long waiting time at the Peak Tram Station, you can look forward to one of the highlights of every trip to this Asian metropolis: the view from Victoria Peak.

Hat man die zumeist sehr lange Wartezeit an der Peak Tram Station hinter sich gebracht, kann man sich auf eines der Highlights einer jeden Reise in diese asiatische Metropole freuen: die Aussicht von Victoria Peak.

The view is especially beautiful at sunset. There are some hiking trails along the cliffs, which are not overcrowded despite the fantastic view.

Besonders schön ist die Aussicht natürlich bei Sonnenuntergang. Es gibt einige Wanderwege, entlang der Klippen, die trotz der genialen Aussicht, nicht überfüllt sind.

And that's the reason for it. The observation deck of the Peak Tower offers probably the most spectacular view of the sea of houses and is therefore more than well visited. To get a good place to take pictures at dusk, you have to come very early or wait very long.

Und das ist der Grund dafür. Die Aussichtsterrasse des Peak Towers bietet wohl den spektakulärsten Blick auf das Häusermeer und ist deshalb auch mehr als gut besucht. Um einen guten Platz zum Fotografieren in der Abenddämmerung zu bekommen, müsst ihr entweder sehr früh kommen oder sehr lange warten.

You will be rewarded with this breathtaking view, which you will certainly not forget very soon.

Belohnt werdet ihr dafür mit diesem atemberaubenden Anblick, den ihr sicher nicht so schnell vergessen werdet.

I could have spent hours admiring the shining city after dark if there would not have been a lot of other impatient tourists behind me, waiting for a place right at the railing 😉

Ich hätte Stunden damit verbringen können, die hellerleuchte Stadt nach Anbruch der Dunkelheit zu bewundern, wenn nicht hinter mit zahlreiche andere, ungeduldige Touristen darauf gewartet hätten, bis endlich ein Platz direkt am Geländer frei wird 😉

Back in the city center, Hong Kong will also impress you during a nocturnal walk, for example with the reflections of the skyscrapers on the glass facades.

Wieder in der Innenstadt angekommen, wird euch Hong Kong auch bei einem nächtlichen Spaziergang beeindrucken, zum Beispiel mit den Spiegelungen an den Glasfassaden der Hochhäuser.
