TRAVELMAN in VIETNAM: Shop, Shop ‘Til You Drop in Hoi An. Fashion, Fashion, Fashion!
The title of this post should be sung to the tune of Def Leppard’s “Rock, Rock Til You Drop.”
I had another pun based title in mind for this post that I decided against using, but I’m going to share it here. It was in honor of the recently deceased Malcom Young of AC/DC — “For Those About to Shop We Salute You!” No? How about a variation, “For Those About to Shop We Solicit You.”
Hoi An is the place to go for a tailored suit, a tailored dress, or a tailored jump suit. It’s also the place to go for shoes and purses, or counterfeit North Face Jackets. I bought a North Face Rain jacket for 500,000 Dong ($22.00 USD). The zipper zips from the opposite side, but it works great and looks damn good on me.
I figure some people like to shop a lot more than I do so I’m sharing these pics.
I said in my last post that if I had money to burn and room in my bag I would have bought one of the outlandishly patterned suits. I think I would have went with this one...
I’d love to get picked up by my family from the airport back home in Ohio in that. Or maybe this one...
Now let’s go shopping!

I would buy some shit (if i fit in it) lol.....i liked the coats the most :D but then again it snowed today so i guess i was automaticly drawn to warmer garments. :3 As for your suit....first one. Deffo first one. :D

Well I had nothing to add to it...but coming from health care myself...I get it. :) It deserved a resteem.
I had shorts made in Hoi An years ago. I'm still wearing them although they are on their last legs now. I keep thinking, hmm, maybe I need to go back and get some more.
It’s a good excuse to visit Vietnam.
The dresses are so so soooo beautiful !! I would wear that long red dress if you're going to wear that fancy suit 😝😝

@travelman Love those suits in Hoi An. Also loved the groups of people dressed in matching garish banana shirts and such.
Really enjoyed seeing these photos, I loved Hoi an, was the best way to finish up our trip around Vietnam
