My trip to New York City!!
Hello everyone, today, I'm going to show you the things that I did on my trip to New York last summer in the 5 days I went there.
We woke up the first at 6:00 am, we went to the airport in Madrid and we do the check-in and all does things.
At 11:00, we took a plane to New York, to the airport of JFKennedy.
It was an 8-hour plane to New York, and we flew with American Airlines.
Finally, we arrived at 1:00 pm. We went to our hotel in the 7th Avenue called Park Central, and we ate a delicious chicken pizza in a restaurant called Ray's Pizza that was in front of our hotel.
The first thing we did in this amazing city, was going to Times Square that was 0.4 miles, like 6 minutes walking from the hotel. We went to the biggest shop of m&m’s I have ever seen and we bought some of them which were delicious.
We took some pictures in this incredible place, and we continued through broadway, we went to 5th Avenue and we saw the richest shops in one of the most famous places in the world.
We also went obviously to the Nba shop, it was amazing I loved it. We saw cups and t-shirts of my favorites basketball players, like the amazing Stephen Curry or the inspiring and best player in the world (in my opinion;) Michael Jordan.
We went to St Patrick's incredible Cathedral. It was surprising for me to see the contrast between the skyscrapers and this gothic architecture, which was cool.
We saw the Rockefeller center that was shocking and we went to the Lego shop which was really cool, it was a really big dragon made with lego!!
Finally, we went to the grand central station, we saw the famous clock and we went to the amazing place where you whisper from one corner of the room and people can hear you from the opposite one.
At this time, it was night so we went again to times square and we saw this spectacular thing, with all the lights and a lot of people.
To finish our day, we ate a hamburger in a Burger King that was near of our hotel, and we went to our rooms, to rest for the next day.
In the second day, we saw a Gospel mass in Harlem that was impressive. When it finished, we took a yellow cap (taxi) to Times Square to buy a 3 day New york pass.
We rent some bikes in Central Park, where we first use the New York Pass, and we saw this incredible place with nature in the middle of the skyscrapers.
In the afternoon, we went to the famous museum Met and we saw beautiful works.
And in the evening, we went to China Town and Little Italy, where we saw singers filming their music videos!!
The third day was so cool, in the morning, we took a boat to Ellis Island where we saw the skyline of New York and we saw the Brooklyn Bridge from the Hudson River.
We did a Wall Street free tour that was spectacular!! We saw the fountain of the 11S. It was sad to see all the names of the people that died that day. We also saw the 6th tallest building of the world, the World Trade Center. We went to the Memorial that was sad but amazing.
When we finished, we went to the Oculus and we took the metro to take the Circle Line Cruise, which was spectacular. We saw the skyline, New Jersey and beautiful sunset.
When we finished the cruise, we took a white limousine that was in the port for 60$ that took us to the Empire State Building, where we saw this beautiful city in the night.
We have dinner in a restaurant in front of the Madison Square Garden.
In the morning of the fourth day, we went up to the Rockefeller Centre, the Top of The Rock, where we saw an amazing view of this incredible city. This day, we took the big bus tour, the bus that we could take in every moment in all the stops of the bus.
Then, we took the free ferry to see the Statue of the Liberty, the present form the French countryside to the American one. When we finished the trip, we went to the Museum Madame Tussauds in Broadway, where we saw figures really really similar to our favorites singers, actors, presidents and more. We saw a spectacle of dancers in the middle of times square and we went to the hotel.
The last day, we went in the morning to the museum of natural history, we walk throw Central Park and we took a contrast tour, where we saw by bus Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens.
We also saw the Yankee Stadium and all the supporters of the team, because it was going to be a match. When it finished, we went to the Brooklyn Bridge and we walk throw the streets of the most amazing city I have ever been for the last hours.
At this point, we said goodbye to this city that made us to fall in love with her and to leave wishing to go back again in a few years.
