Probably there are many people out there who already know about it and has been using it for a while know but still so many travellers don't know about it.

While hosting is an activity that local people do in a city / country that receives Couchsurfing guests, also for free.
Great tips! Wondering how do they monitor and prevent someone creating free accounts just for the referral system? Or does that referral first need to book their first stay before the 'commission' credits come into your account? LOL, think we answered our own question :p
