Advent in Zagreb

After tired work days, school and studying, everything you want is a little break and joy with your family or friends. You just can't wait holidays to come. Wonderful Advent in Zagreb is an event crowded with much positive energy and happy people providing various animation for adults with kids.

Advent is held on the main Square of Zagreb - Ban Josip Jelacic Square and King Tomislav Square where is located fabulous and well-known Ice Park. Ice Park is one of the most beautiful outdoor skating rink with amazing visual experience. It's even better if you're with your family or your better half ♥

I've triggered an amazing photo few weeks before Advent started while the works were still in operation.

I just love this one because it looks like the statue of King Tomislav is protecting the Square. I took the photo with my smartphone. It can't be more romantic knowing that right behind me is Zagreb's main staton. Traveling by train to the very beginning of an Advent and seeing that wonderful view is just special.

People enjoy that event because there is no end of diversity of food, concerts, the scent of gingerbread and boiled wine. Christmas atmosphere is very well, Church quires and Klapa groups fill the moment with peace. It makes people leave their computer and television to get out and breathe some fresh air.
It's all about the moment and positivity. You enjoy the walk and good vibe, which is actually a good exercise and good for your health. Plus it's ambience and good for your psyche.
