You can't take the goCar to the Safari Park (it's way out of their tour range), but they are a good tour to explore some of central San Diego and Balboa Park.
I haven't been out to the Safari Park since before it changed its name from the Wild Animal Park, years ago.
I hope you enjoyed your visit to my part of the world, and encourage you to explore some of the #hiddenplaces there as well.
