I feel like I need to say that you are brave for hitchhiking. I hitchhiked most of my 19th year. Mostly sketchy people and a couple of bad situations so be careful out there.
I'm very happy that this time it ended up going smoothly, but I'm not trying to hitchhike unless it's a necessity- like it was this time, since the buses weren't running that day, and to hire a taxi would've cost me way too much money.
Good I am glad to hear that although in time it gets easier to hitchhike. I'm glad you made it okay I hope the rest of your trip is good.
