Tomorrowland: Belgian Techno-Disneyland scores again
Tomorrowland is now a known value and a multinational throughout the world. What once started as a small festival, like you have so many in Europe during the summer is now recognized as the biggest and best festival of its kind.

Belgium, or better said Flanders, a small region on the globe, lately, they know how to put themselves on the global map. The hype of the World Cup Football has just ended where they took the third place, or Belgium scores again internationally with Tomorrowland and is subject to praise on all news desks from the international free community.

The Techno highlight began with a simple YouTube video in 2011: “Tomorrowland-Aftermovie” and a record 73 million views in a few days. The little festival in Flanders was overrun by thousands of visitors who came on foot, by bike, bus or train. Today they still come by any way of transport from all over the world even by more than a hundred special chartered Party Planes, on which festivities start in the air. Russians, Americans, Japanese, Chinese, Brazilians seem all to find their way to the most spectacular festival in the world. Tomorrowland is for the youth, what Mekka is for the Muslims, you have to be there at least once. It is important to have seen it, to have tasted the atmosphere of peace, fraternity, and friendship, a wonderful tangible illusion where love, wellness, and art are central.

The magic starts already with the entrance ticket if you can get one because every year the festival is sold out in a record time. The ticket is not a piece of paper it is a steampunk-like a giftbox with a hanger, an entrance bracelet to wear around your wrist. Classy and unique.

The concept is simple: in a small region of the world play it big, on the weekends of Tomorrowland not only in Texas are things big, Tomorrowland is big! The sets are more spectacular than any Hollywood production the Best DJ’s of the world play like they have never played before and the whole package is a totally new experience only happening in Tomorrowland. Here there are no borders, no nationalities just one utopian place of unity.

The clever Belgians have not only made a unique experience, they have created a new lifestyle, a philosophy almost a religion. It is easy to draw a comparison with the Flower Power from a long time ago and the legendary Woodstock Festival. Tomorrowland is the Woodstock of the digital age.

This year it was the story of Planaxis who swept the visitors off their feet with hypnotic music and the non-aggressive atmosphere in the fields. Here no fights, a zero tolerance for drugs or crime, only that indescribable feeling of commitment and thankfulness to be there and to enjoy an identity as the younger and not so young generations. It is a place where friendships come into existence, future plans are discussed and memories are tattooed into souls.
