Maginificent Place of the Buddha's nirvana, in India
I believe that all religions are important to people as it is a spiritual anchor for people. Religion creates morality, brings peace of mind and wisdom.
For Buddhists, there are 4 important places relevant to the Lord Buddha.
Place of birth of the Lord Buddha
Place of the Lord Buddha's enlightenment
Place where the Lord Buddha's first sermon was performed
Place of the Lord Buddha's nirvana
These 4 places are considered as miracle places for Buddhist that we should visit at least once in our life.
I used to present Place of birth of the Lord Buddha, called Lumbini Park, in my old post.
Today, I will show you some photos of the place of the Lord Buddha’s nirvana, which is situated in India at present.
Most Buddhists, including me, would love to visit this place to commemorate the Lord Buddha.
This place looks sacred and the surrounding area looks peaceful. It is wonderful with picturesque views. I especially love the little pond, it makes the area look refreshing.
The building and the stupa are magnificent with the light yellow and awesome shapes.
Inside the building, there is a giant statue of the Lord Buddha for people to pay respect to.
Most people who visit this place on this trip wear white clothes, which symbolizes purity of body and mind.
It’s said that the Lord Buddha traveled and taught the Dhamma for 45 years and passed into nirvana under the Sala tree at 80 years old.
Visiting this place is worth a visit!
