Springtime in the Colorado Rockies - Baldy Creek BLM Land

So, here we are, @gypsydanger and I, Boondocking in the heart of the Rockies, and I can't take my eyes off the flora! I'm trying to learn how to identify as many edible plants as possible, but in the meantime, the beauty of all the unknown foliage has blown my mind.

This is Toadflax... How can something so pretty be called a "Weed"?

This gorgeous tree was blooming out of control throughout the mountainside...and that little guy photo-bombed me lol

There are at least 5 different shades of green all over the ground, and everything is blooming EVERYWHERE! Baldy Creek was the view out my back door. We set up the camp stove and we enjoyed Mahi Mahi and roasted marshmallows around a picture-perfect campfire. Damn, bein' a Gypsy is rough, eh?

I even tried my hand at chocolate cake in a Dutch oven over coals in a pit in the ground (maybe that might take some more practice... Don't ask). Had so much more fun in a week than I can possibly catch you up on here... Shot an AR at my old phone (more on that later hehe), even fell in the creek trying to catch laundry (Mayyyyybe more on That later lol). Next stop... Who knows😉!
