A little piece of woosah

Blessed beyond measure with our mountain home.
I am ready for a beach trip. A little sand, the sound of waves, maybe an adult beverage or 2 or 3... But all that aside, when the trip is over, I will count the miles all the way home.
While hubby was active duty military, we spent 21 years away from our mountain town. We lived in a lot of different places and other countries but yet this place beckoned to us. Every decision we made was in preparation for retiring and moving "home" and now we are here.
The trees are green, honeysuckle grows wild along the road, the ponds and rivers run cold and fireflies light up the night.
...hmmmm, maybe I should rethink that beach trip.
