Yes, such old castles are cool and interesting places and there's a lot to explore.
I think it is important to restaurate such buildings and they can also earn some money when tourists come and visit them.
To give a !DERANGED and a !BEER is an easy and simple way for me to say thank you for being nice, and giving an additional !MARLIANS or !COFFEEA means I thank you even more 😉
I agree with you. They organized a nice visit to the fort. They charge for entry ... and so with donations they slowly settle ......
Old castles are mysteries .. and you can always expect some secret passage😉

There are always some secrets to find in old castles, but as a tourist you will mostly find the ones they want you to find ;)
Of course they charge for the entry. This way they can carry on restaurating and make the castle more beautiful and enjoyable.
