CANCUA-AY, OSLOB CEBU

Oslob is southern town of Cebu Province. Some of may have probably heard or read of the place somewhere. Why? It's home to those well known "Butanding" or whale. It's the whale watching capital of Region VII. But I won't be featuring that for I know there already hundreds blogging about it.

My beachin' at Oslob is at a particular barangay called Cancua-ay. Me together with close friends and family had read of the resort through online. We were inform already of what to expect and that overall the beach is worth the travel.

First expectation : there at least 200 steps going down to the beach from the highway and of course another 200 steps again going up! Yeah! You read it right. Well, we already know about that, however as expectation vs. reality is "in" we did not expect it to be super stiff 200 steps!

So in the middle of that uphill climb is the needed rest to catch our breath and revive the energy but then again due to the fun of it despite the struggle of keeping up to our breath we are all smiles!

Second expectation : the beach is super okay its the exact same thing we had seen on the net but in reality we did not expect the waves to be that high and strong and that there are so many boulders surrounding the ocean front. It feels like your beaching and playing hide and seek at the same time :) how cool is that huh!

THEN THERES THIS HAMMOCK IN BETWEEN ROCKS AND YOU GET TO ENJOY THE WATER WHEN IT GETS HIGH ENOUGH TO TOUCH YOU WHILE AT IT.

To sum up the entire day adventure : IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE EFFORT! Nature is always the best destresser.
