How to get great photographs at the Taj Mahal, according to Emmanuel Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron spent the final leg of his India tour in Uttar Pradesh. He took a special cruise on the Ganga, inaugurated a solar power plant and boarded a train. He even spent his time in Varanasi at the luxurious Taj Nadesar Palace and, like every self-respecting foreign dignitary, visited the Taj Mahal in Agra. But President Macron, who was accompanied by his wife, Brigitte, wasn’t just any other world leader visiting the Taj. So there were no pictures of the couple sitting on the marble bench with the Taj in the backdrop, no photos of kids prancing around the UNESCO World Heritage Site like it was their playschool (yes Justin, we’re looking at you). Instead, what we did get was this amazing silhouette of the couple in the archway, another shot of the sun shining over the First Lady while President Macron’s black tie fluttered stylishly in the wind and yet another one of the head of state admiring Taj’s workmanship.
