Good morning ladies and gentlemen, great steemians. Permit me to wellcome you in advance to Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, because I know that someday a few of you will visit this wonderful and irresistible lands and these beautiful people.

An oil producing state berth in the heart of the Niger Delta, Nigeria, West Africa. The Atlantic Ocean flows through the south coast of this reserved and honestly peaceful state.

Before I get to the "wonderful Ocean" which by the way is supernatural, so to speak, for it does not behave like any other water front in the world, may I introduce you to the people of Akwa Ibom State.

The name Akwa Ibom literally refers to the "almighty God" which already reveals to you the religious inclination is her people. Predominantly Christian, the average Akwaibomite is very peaceful, observant , hospitable and accommodating exactly as he thinks will be pleasing to God.

Over here, honesty is truly the best policy.

They are very beautiful people, physically with the most beautiful maidens in these part of the world. Several victories at inter-state beauty pageant has proven that.

Profane characters are seriously frowned at and infidelity is too scandalous to be considered.

Very educated people with no fewer than 350 schools in the state. The coast land is endowed with proper climate for Agricaulture and tolerable amount of rain for a rainforest belt.

The oil rich state with about 3 popular beach resorts. Host community of Exonn Mobil Nigeria, has absolutely no volcanic activity as it doesn't lie at the volcanic belt.

Now about the ocean, did you ever see a water front which is supplied by same ocean but two appearances (color) of the ocean, blue and white demacated by the pararell flow and when you scoped the blue to add to the white, the blue water immediately flies by itself to join the blue flow while the white does same if you should try to mix them. Yes, it literally cannot mix with each other.

Have you seen this before? Such wanders of the world? They won't even mix in a cup.

It is called Blue River and it's a super attraction for numerous tourist. The miracle leaves you dumbfounded for several minutes, like you don't believe that you actually saw water jump out of a cup of its own accord because it won't mix with the other and no, it's no voodoo. It is considered nature here.

The language translates it as "Nanga mbono mkpo akeba ke eset" which translates as "As it was designed in the days of old ".
