Our 2015 all-inclusive Island holiday - Le Victoria Hotel & Spa, Mauritius

July school holidays (Winter) 2015 the De Wet family went on their very first holiday out of South Africa together.
Thank you Beachcomber Tours - it was MAGICAL (and the agent discounts rocked)!!

Not only was it the FIRST time my 2 boys had been on a plane, it was also the first time my husband flew for a holiday...... only ever been on an aircraft for "not-so-pleasant" reasons (sick family/fighting on the Angolan/Namibian border in the South African military when it was compulsory for boys graduating high school to do 2 years army service)

The kids were SUPER excited and so was hubby, but also VERY nervous.......travelling by air for LEISURE and by CHOICE was a foreign concept (the faces say it all) - note the "I'm trying to seem calf for the kids" face

After just over 5 hours on board we landed on the island of Mauritius around 23h00, where we were met by our private transfer SUV, and off we went to check into the resort.

PICTURESQUE doesn't come close to describing this GORGEOUS island AND the Le Victoria Resort....which we got to FULLY appreciate after getting some sleep and watching the sun rise over the beach and the garden of coconut trees and island flora.......

Unlimited free non-motorised water sports & skiing, UNLIMITED food from the various restaurants & buffet and drinks
& cocktails that NEVER stopped flowing.

MORE food, MORE activities, nightly entertainment and a LOTS of memories were made those 7 nights/8 days

Must have gained at LEAST 3kg each that week

SUCH a blessing to have shared this experience with all 3 of my special guys <3

Can't WAIT for our next holiday!!

We REALLY were sad to leave!!
