Sunset Bike Ride in LiShui China
Rent-a-bike is quite popular here and cheap, available everywhere, no strings attached adventure.
I didn’t realize this was a no biking path until after dark, still no one said a word, they probably just figured silly foreigner, I assume. It was a smooth ride and not another cyclist the whole way. Once I saw the sign I took the less scenic route, on the road without a view of the beautiful water.
(One of the most recognizable structures in Li Shui)
(The temple, you can't miss it)
All over the city they have this rental bikes I can easily use with an APP on my phone. It’s quite cheap, much cheaper than buying a bike. Plus I can leave this bike anywhere I want and not have to take up space in my home storing it.
(The brand is called "hello" and every time I unlock it with my phone it says 'hello' in English)
It was a nice relaxing, slow paced bike ride, that took about one and a half hours to get the well lit up temple and then back to home. It feels good to exercise again. I also skipped rope for 20 minutes. It’s raining today so I will have to skip the bike ride tonight, such a pity. I was planning to go the opposite direction which would take me across the water to what’s on the other side.
I went past the touristy type of historical places in LiShui. It was interesting to see in the dim light. I think I managed to get some good shots. I suppose on one of my free days I will check out these places in the light and really learn about LiSHui’s history.
(It's a lot of labour to build a city in the hills.)
(Beautiful architecture)
(The lights kept changing giving the bushes a cool effect in the dark.)
Congratulations @solarguy!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
Do not miss the last post from @steemitboard:
Woo Hoo, I'm a minnow.... again.
So many cool photos! Glad to see you discovering more wonderful places in Lishui and the same time doing an exercise. I missed riding a bicycle, I haven't done that in a long while, maybe I should in the future when life gives me more freetime. It reminds me of the rent-a-bike in Bantayan island, that was indeed fun.
That bridge in LiShui looks similar to Mactan bridge here in Cebu.
Steemitboard is funny lol. I'm still a minnow too. You're not alone. =)
