Travel: My First Snow

Snow be like: Ayaw mo akong puntahan sa snow mountain? Ako ang pupunta sa iyo.

After my canola field experience, I thought it was definitely spring. Of course, spring was a bit late in Zodian (Shangri La), Yunnan, China. But still spring nontheless. To experience snow, I had to go to either Shika, Haba or Meili Snow Mountain. But no! With 4 to 3 degreees Centigrade these past few days, my nose started to bleed and my eyes hurt. Altitude sickness was starting to hit me. So snow mountain tour cancelled.

Imagine my shock when my aunt told me that there's snow outside. Yes, it is not a drill. We are in trouble now. We don't have thermalwear and ill-equipped for this weather. How to leave this room???

Anyway, we are leaving for the less colder Lijiang later. Queen Elsa, please be kind to us. Have mercy!

Will update this blog once we get out of this room and out of Shangri La later. Jeez! I hope we will survive.
