Independence Palace or Reunification Palace is known as a milestone throughout the Vietnam War. Occurred from the French until April 30, 1975, this magnificent palace experienced many events as well as change the history of the land of Saigon - Gia Dinh at that time
The palace was built around 1875, when it was built
On March 9, 1945, Japan overtook the French, the Norodom Palace became the workplace of the Japanese government in Vietnam. But just six months later, Japan failed in World War II, France returned to occupy the South, the Norodom Palace returned to France's headquarters in Vietnam
Independence Palace was bombed on 27-2-1962
The purpose of the attack was to assassinate President Ngo Dinh Diem and other key figures of the regime. However, the three dead in the attack were servants and guards
