Korean Imperial Wedding Shoot in Seoul [Original Content]
Hey everyone! Annyeonghaseyo! We are in Seoul just nearby the shopping district Myeongdeong and we found this cute photo studio where you can just walk in and have a great souvenir to bring home.
The entrance is quiet small but there is a big billboard above the studio, so it’s quiet easy to find if ever you will be looking for it.
At the entrance and in the lobby there are tons of pictures from previous shoots, so you can check already what costume you and setting you like. There are many, many costumes available. For the good ones you will have to pay extra. There are couple costumes, wedding costumes, dancers costumes and also ninja/samurai warrior styles.
We’ve decided to go for the Imperial Wedding shoot. So we got the most expensive costumes and three big printed pictures, fee small printed pictures for into the wallet, plus a cd with all the shots. They did also the make up for Shinifer.
All in all we paid about $120. The price per person actually starts at $20. So as you can see, you will pay more for all the extras.
Our photographer was, in our opinion, very skilled. She knew how to prepare us and set us up. She told us where to look, how to position our head, how to fold the arms, and many other detailed things. She was very good on guiding us through the shoot. And her editing skills were excellent too.
These are the edited and printed pictures:
Upstairs of the studio they prepared tons of little settings where you can go yourself and do pictures with your own camera / phone. You can compare it like small little camera booths, also good for selfies.
What do you think about this studio? Have you been there? Would you go there?

Great images, and Korea is a country where i would love to spend my winter, such an interesting culture! it's a pity Seoul is so expensive!
Where are you from? :)
Well, compared to Japan, Korea is really cheap 😅. Also the taxi fares are cheap there.
I am from Lithuania, was reading about Seoul it is much more expensive, especially the rent, but compare to Tokyo it is probably dirty cheap :)
Yeah maybe rent is expensive. But food and transportation costs are ok :) With the Euro you should be fine there. :) :)
Yeah, money is manageable, but I've read that it is very difficult to rent an apartment in Seoul, as deposit is like ten time bigger than the rent itself lol
Woah that’s crazy. In Switzerland, the deposit is usually 1-3x the monthly rent.
yes, indeed, and still there is trouble finding an apartment unless it is in outskirts of the city.
Nice information thanks
Nice!...will try to go there when i have the opportunity. However not at this moment due to the tension between N. Korea & USA.
Yeah you should visit once :)
I like!
Thank you! Hey you are from Romania? I was once in Klus :)
I am from Romania and I live in Bucharest. Have you been to Cluj? I'm glad! What little is the world though, if you've gotten here. ;-) What do you think about Cluj and about Romania in general?
Cluj and Romania are great! Nice people there!
I like too, so different culture. In my country is a men in a black suit and a woman in a white lace dress. :).
The modern version like in Amerika? Do you have any traditional wedding dresses? :)
I am not yet married... but I hope soon...And I like white, long dress :)
Good luck to you :)
What a beautiful shots! Very special place! Sooner or later I will have to travel to Korea!
Yes it’s worth to visit there :)
