Photos of Inis Mór, Aran Islands off the west coast of Ireland, near Galway and Doolin
Here's some photos from a day trip to Inis Mór, one of the Aran Islands, off the west coast of Ireland. Inis Mór means big island, it's the largest of the Aran islands but with an area of only 31 km2 (12 sq mi), it's quite small.
These islands are worth a visit if you're traveling around Ireland. There's regular boat trips, this is the one we went on.
The rock formations are spectacular there.
I liked the fields that had lots of wild flowers.
We hired bikes and cycled around the island but you can also travel by horse and cart.
The beaches look good and the sea water is very clear.
The narrow roads were good for cycling and there's stone walls separating the fields all around the island.
It's a great place to visit on a sunny summer day
The stone walled fields and Ireland in the background.

Looks amazing, doesn't look much different to Ireland especially in the more rural areas, but usually the weather isn't as nice.
