THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS
The Municipality of Dingras, is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. It is one of the oldest towns and also known as the Rice Granary of the Province of Ilocos Norte. Rice is the major agricultural product of Dingras followed by tobacco. Dingras farmers cultivate other agricultural products as well including corn, garlic, vegetables, bananas and coffee.

Josefa Llanes Escoda is a prominent Filipino advocate of women's rights in the Philippines including the electorate and founder of the Girls Scout of the Philippines.
She also dubbed as the Florence Nightingale of the Philippines. She is the pride of Dingras, Ilocos Norte.

MADONGAN DAM
The Madongan Dam of Dingras started out as a regular dam that supplies water to nearby towns, but as water levels decreased, slowly became a tourist spot for visitors to swim and play in. If you wish to stay and swim longer, they offer cottages in front of the dam and it costs 500php or 10$.

The Ani Festival is an annual event in the municipality of Dingras. It is held every year, every last week of March. It is serves as a thanksgiving celebration of Dingras farmers for their plentiful lands and abundant harvests. Agriculture has been the primary way of life in Dingras.
