A journey in Asia - China: Pandas

As promised, here comes the second part of the previous article and it is all about the pandas.

Chengdu is famous for pandas. I am not a fan of zoos and I always avoid them, that's why I went to the research base of Giant Panda Breeding.

They're so lazy they lay down to eat. They're supposed to be carnivorous mammals, so I understand that eating bamboos is way more convenient than hunting...

You've got to be there at 8 o'clock in the morning, at this time the pandas are the most "active".

This research center is a unique place for giving birth. Males are not really interested in reproduction, so the team shows to adults "panda porn". 

When a female panda gives birth, she usually focuses on one of the babies in order to increase the survival chance. The team, then take care of the other ones. 

One notable fact, a baby can't poop by themselves, it needs a little pressure on its belly (I'll skip the video for this time...).
